According to Marc Andreyko, writer for Manhunter, Kate is going places!
Namely:
1. Getting a 2nd TPB with 9 issues in it (collecting issues 6-14) at a tentative 19.99 pricetag. This will be sold in Janurary apparently.
2. Manhunter is going on a road trip... With the Birds Of Prey! Gail Simone is having Kate along for issues 100-104 in the BoP title!
Fantastic news if you're a Manhunter fan. Finally branching out into another great title and getting a 2nd Volume in TPB form. So much for cancellation!
If you haven't checked out this title, what are you waiting for???? Order the TPB (which will have the OMAC tie-ins) today!
Not much to add here other than to throw in more support for Kate. One of the titles to which I most look forward every month - and it's consistent too! - and I'm really hoping enough people jump in to save it.
I admit, the VS card game does leave me wondering if Kate's going to be hooking up with the JSA somehow after their "restart". Heck, she's even a multi-Golden Age-Legacy character in that she's connected to the Atom (sorta'), the Manhunter and Phantom Lady (well, and Iron Munroe but who cares about him? ).

When our story opens, the Question is investigating an impossible locked-room murder mystery involving a midget and a 6'6"-tall call girl into heavy bondage. Don't worry, I'll explain later. It's all vitally relevant.

A few issues back it came out that Kate's father was the child of a Golden Age hero. Birth records - and a bit of finagling with adoption records being it was shown that the father had been left for adoption - revealed that the father was Al Pratt. Kate contacted Dr. Mid-Nite to ask for his help on figuring out the puzzle (as far as anyone knew, Mary Pratt had had no biological children and Al was not the type to cheat). A bit of detective and medical work later, the answer was revealed...
Phantom Lady (the original) had been involved with Iron Munroe back during the days of the All-Star Squadron and became pregnant. Munroe had already left her by that point (he was a bit of a bed-hopper at the time) and the only person Ms. Knight had to turn to was her friend, Al. When it came time for PL to give birth to the kid, Al went with her to the "home for unwed mothers" - the receptionist just figured Al (who gave his name so PL didn't have to do so as a name was required for service) was the father and put it as such on the birth records.
So to sum up:
Honourary "godfather": Al Pratt
Biological Grandfather: Iron Munroe
Biological Grandmother: Phantom Lady
Biological Cousins: Ted and Jack Knight, the second Phantom Lady, Damage, etc.

The Golden Age Phantom Lady was first cousin to Ted Knight (Jack's father). By extension as PL and Munroe did eventually end up married for a bit and had Kate, that would mean Jack is also related to Iron Munroe.
Arguably everyone is related to Damage as his DNA - beyond just being Al and Mary Pratt's unknown child - was spliced/created from all of the JSA and a few of the original JLA'ers.

Sandra Knight!? My goodness!
I don't know when this takes place in chronology, but that might be robbing the cradle just a little. Most of the All-Stars were of voting age during WWII - but Arn was still but a wee teenager. (Sure, a wee teenager with a penchant for the horizontal mambo, but still.)
I wonder if Kate or Kate's dad ever/will ever show any of the Iron Munro power set - Arn got them by heredity, so there's no reason why Kate and Mr. Spencer couldn't...

Well there are powers being displayed in Kate's son. Could be......hmmmmm...... Also there has been subtle hints that Kate might also have something "inherent" in her as well.....
25 is coming out next week I believe. It's supposed to be a knockout issue.

Relax, as it's strongly implied that Ms. Knight was either a tad younger or the same age as Arn (and it was also implied they were both young adults, not teenagers by that point - they were at least 18 based on some scenes. ).
Both Kate's father and son have demonstrated powers - more than enough of the enhanced physique capabilities that it allowed Kate to believe the father's claim that the original Atom was her grandfather. I feel I've already spoiled too much of that story though - the one with her father - so no more to be said on that. Just go find the backissues. They're worth it. Heck, the series is worth it (and if you were ever a fan of DEO, Mr. Bones or Cameron Chase you should really be buying this as they're all cast members).
