I recommend the collected works of allen moore. It's all the issues and short stories he ever wrote for DC; featuring the F-sharp bell, superman loses his powers, and many other stories

also, read the watchmen, it's great.

for an elseworlds tale, get superman red son, it is the single greatest trade I have ever read. superman's craft lands in communist russia during the cold war, and he is raised as stalin's right hand man.

now, something marvel: sabretooth, open season. good story, awesome plot twist, best last page ever!

venom vs. carnage and toxin: the devil you know
for someone with limited $ it's good, since those are the only 2 trades in the series.

I reccomend cable and deadpool, I read one of the trades, it was hilarious !

Thanks for all of the advice. I started to read the Young Avengers and I really like it so I think I will start up that series. If you guys have any more ideas about any on going series that you would recommend I read I’m all ears open. (The full series I'm reading right now are Moon Knight, New Avengers, Civil War, Civil War FrontLine, Young Avengers.)
