I just read 52 #15, *SPOILERS* and I don't buy it for one second that Michael is dead. I agree with the popular opinion that Supernova is Michael, via time travel. All the things in Rip Hunter's lab about Booster messing up time would make sense if he wasn't supposed to come back as Supernova. Anyway I hope that is a big plot twist, because I thought that Booster was great in Inf Crisis, but seeing him as a corporate sellout made me hate him now. Even if it turns out my guess is wrong, I still can't wait to find out the truth about Supernova, he'll be playing a bigger and bigger part in 52 as the weeks go on. What do you think?
This hippie died for me and while I’m glad it doesn’t mean that I’m going to accept every word that you say, its the installment of shame that makes you a pawn in the game and that’s not my definition of faith.-Balance
I can tell you this; Booster's story is not over. There are SO many plot threads left that haven't even been touched upon; we most certainly will be seeing more of Michael John Carter.
By the way, for the sake of those who skim through posts and might miss a warning within the first line of the paragraph, things like this might be better with a *SPOILERS* tag within the title. That way people know to be careful before even clicking on a thread. Just a suggestion.

Wolverine and the X-Men looks to be personally designed to for me, minus one glaring absence: Quentin Quire. Nevermind! All is well!

WHAT? Dude, seriously he started his post with it. I don't think he did anything wrong.
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.

I agree.

It has to be someone involved with Booster based on what he said to him and accordingt ogood sources there are three likely candiates. Booster himslef, Booster's sister whose death inspired him in the first place and Ted Kord Blue Beetle.

I haven't actually read the book but two things come to mind when i hear this. First of all, there has to be more to it, there are too many plots that still hinge on him. What about that guy who blamed booster for time unravelling? Secondly, isn't this just the kind of thing booster would do? Fake his own death for public sympathy just so he can return - a hero triumphant once again?
That's what i'm hoping for, anyway.
Also, i hope elongated man will be return to some kind of semi-normal condition again, he really was a great character and we don't need more character deaths to add to the drama.
I agree with the idea that Booster is Supernova, BUT someone else, who's name escapes me on this site, posted that their theory is that Supernova is Rip Hunter. Either way I don't think Booster is dead.
As for Booster being Supernova ,I don't think so, If anything Supernova is A Superman robot, I think this because at the end of the book Clark shouts"don't worry Skeets WE'll save him" as Supernova flies off. Also one of my friends said that a few years back when Supes lost his powers for a while he patrolled the city as a character named Supernova using some of Bruce's gadgets.
No doubt he's brought that behemoth Brock Sampson with him, he's gonna go sickhouse on our asses
One of the Worst deaths in comic book history i hope its not final
