Didn't Maxima die in OWAW?

Plus, the World Court ruled it as self-defense so there aren't any charges against her that the public should object to. Brother Eye's broadcast was just propaganda: a two second clip of her killing Max without the context of a mind controled Superman about to kill her before being used for more evil deeds.

Didn't realize Maxima was dead. I was just using her as an example. Okay, how about instead of Maxima, Zauriel replaces Hawkgirl at some point? I know he's still alive.

Zauriel would've been a great re-addition.

Actually Zauriel would need to be reborn and sent back to Earth again as he was one of the "fatalities" (or as much as one of his status can be) during Infinite Crisis.

I think that Zauriel's already shown up again in 52.

I think it actually was the very first one. Then again, he has returned rather quickly from death before. It's in his character.

Good point - he did show up in "52" (and in one of my favourite issues to boot - geez, tells you how much attention I paid to his part in it. ). It's been stated before that when he "dies" in this area of existence he basically just pulls the old D&D stunt of being "banished" back to Heaven to reform until God sends him back down again. Guess he got a quick-pass this time.

It should be a more interesting dynamic then you think... I believe in the early days of BoP, it was made clear that Roy and Dinah "had relations". Kind of gives a whole new meaning to "thats not how your father does it."
