Dark Crisis had a thread about how his reviews would be delayed do to a lack of titles he was getting and I think he's a bit short on cash. If you'd like though, you could have set up your own thread. Might be a bit late now though.
Sorry, I would give you reviews but I never get my titles until the following Monday (as they have to ship to me from across the U.S. - ah, the joys of living in a small mountain town).
Hmm...maybe I should start an "Almost a Week Late and Many Dollars Short After Buying All This" Reviews thread on Mondays. *jk*

The Atom's new archenemy is slowly coming out of the shadows while the Lex-Luthor-like beneficiary stays there (in the shadows). And then there's some weird stuff with Giganta. (Doesn't Giganta make a really bad enemy of the Atom? The Atom's whole advantage is that he's smaller than you. Well, he's a heck of a lot smaller than Giganta!) Anyway, the story may be going somewhere, but it's still not there yet.
Y the Last Man #49 Eh, what's there to say? It's just chapter 49 of a long friggin' story, but it's a good story.
Outsiders #40 Some unnecessary explanations start the issue, followed by a necessary one (Yes, Shift was reabsorbed into Metamorpho, which prob'ly explains Metamorpho's shi(f)tty new look. One explanation we don't get is "what" Grace really is, but, y'know, who cares? And then the heroes have a bizarre-o plan that sorta backfires. An uncontrolled Superman clone is not something you wanna team up with. But then, like any good deus ex machina, he flies off stage for no particular reason. The plotting seems weak, but at least it may be going somewhere, now that the "heroes" have found out about Sivana by threatening to kill Brain.
Mystery in Space #1 Meet the new Captain Comet, same as the old one. I never read Hardcore Station, so the setting is not one I have any attachment to. It's entertaining seeing them try to retcon Captain Comet's history. There are weird bits, like how he Captain Comet left Earth in the 1950s because he wasn't needed once the Justice League showed up. (So, wait, the Justice League showed up in the 1950s in current continuity? Wow, Superboy must've really punched a wall or something.) And yes, they kill Captain Comet, only to resurrect him in the same issue. And yet, it's still reasonably entertaining. And then, it ties in with the Weird, who's back, but doesn't really have any purpose. While the art is nice to look at, what's the purpose of characters without a purpose? It all just seems... purposeless.
52 #18 Well, there's a gratuitous continuity-smashing Sentinels of Magic appearance. There's a retconned-into-existence group of detectives that have "always" now been pals. Ralph has the helmet of Fate and might become Dr Fate, with possibly getting Sue back as a reward. (But it's probably just the writers yanking our chains.) And then there's the rather confusing dialogue between Question and Black Adam, a rather awkward attempt to show that Renee's finding it hard to deal with having had to shoot some girl previously. And, there's also the insulting funeral for Booster, with Booster Jr (or Senior in this case thanks to time travel) being created for no good reason. I can't see what there is to like in the plotting or scripting this issue. But the artwork is innocuous enough.
I was just about to ask where the Marvel Reviews were
I've filled in before ... but my DC pull list is really thin. I'd have to stick to Marvel. DC is down to 52, Outsiders, Teen Titans (hanging on by a thread), and the new JLA series.
