That's awsome. I remember reading he was a fan of the comic in the Hardcover TPB of Runaways #1. He obviously loves the characters and should do the title justice.
Well good, now he can go back to writing teenage girls, and I won't have to read about it. It must've taken great effort for him not to be writing a teenage girl character for so long, wait, no, he turned wolverine into a pre-teen girl on this latest run so that counts, right? Good riddance. He was good for one(very good, actually) story-arc on X-men. Best news of the day so far.
Silly question:
- If I were thinking about checking this series out do you recommend starting right from the beginning or is there a point where it starts getting good?

It's good right from the first issue of Volume 1. If you'd like to make a minimal investment, buy the digest trades which are around 11 bucks for the first six issues. Personally, I'd recommend the oversized harcover with the first 18 issues, but that's a bit pricey if you're unsure of getting it.
