If ever a Marvel figure deserved 5 stars, this is the one. Do I really have to argument the consistant AV and Damage, the 2 clicks of RS, the all-dial damage reducers and the Ultimates TA ? Ok, his Defense drops towards the end, well it will help the Medic won't it ? Still the best offensive Marvel piece, with no serious concurrent in its price range.
Perfection - I don't care if he's considered cheese - I love the comic, so I'm playin' the team! Try Shellhead before Fortitude. He doesn't have much colour to Outwit. Don't push off his first click - he's an offensive beast throughout the dial, but only holds his own defensively on his first click. After that, push away (With the aforementioned Shellhead). Do NOT underestimate or forget the second arrow.
Comic-wise, Thor is not nearly as powerful as his click version. He can do some strong damage but lacks the endurance and unrelenting power that this figure demonstrates. Ultimate Thor is an offensive powerhouse with high damage and a high attack value. His weakness is his low defense which any figure can hit. If he can get locked down, Thor is easy to take out. If he has a medic nearby, he will be back again and again.

I guess Jon L got his correspondance certificate for CCG design when he built this figure. This figure is obviously undercosted and is only in the set to entice players to keep buying more boosters in hopes of pulling one. It violates all standards set for the game by Cook, Mulvihill, and Quick, and was meant as an answer to the overpowered stealth power at the time of his release.
A very good, but overvalued piece. Gameplaywise his defense is pretty bad thesedays and a good player knows how to tie him up so he can't run away.
