I wonder who the "close combat god" we see next week is...
Drax?
Mantis? (nah)
Karnak?
SHE-HULK?!!? Yeaa BABY (although technically she would be "goddess")
Well between "storm clouds" and Close Combat "god" I'm REALLY hoping it's Thor. It might as well be considering we've got spoilers for the LE version and he was pretty much planned on being revealed soon (based off of assumptions from the King Hyperion article). So we'd get LE Donald Blake on Wednesday and REV Thor on Friday. Something like that.

So here I go adding to Kaitouace's sig again, but he hit the nail on the head. FOOM is very playable.

I thought the not so subtle hints were pretty obvious that Thor will be the sneak peak next week. They're presumbly going to sneak peek the big guns and big selling points of this set now that they're only doing a few of them. If you're only going to show a few figures from the set before release then you want them to be the good ones.
I just don't see the point with playing a game with such a diverse background and flavour as Heroclix and such a massive pool of pieces to choose from to limit yourself to playing dupes or the same character over and over.
Marvel HeroClix: Supernova
DOOM preview
by Seth Johnson
The Secret Wars. When the omnipotent Beyonder pitted many of Marvel’s greatest heroes against many of their greatest foes. Yet after he stole not only the cosmic power of Galactus but also the power of the Beyonder himself, they were all bested by a single man: Doom.
Finally in control of the Power Cosmic, Doom has the team ability of the same name that protects him from pushing damage and from others’ Outwit. Yet he still has his own genius in a run of Outwit that blossoms into a equally long run of Probability Control as he gains control of his newfound power.
An opening slot of Phasing/Teleport combined with the wing speed symbol allows Doom to move onto whichever square he intends to make his stand, then high damage values paired with alternating Energy Explosion, Psychic Blast, and Pulse Wave let him swat opponents who dare to annoy him (with Force Blast that allows him to push them back to range if they come too close.)
Opening Impervious gives Doom the chance to shake off even the heaviest attacks. Yet though he finally has ultimate power he remains all too human--the weakness he discovered in the Secret Wars. His Impervious quickly gives way to Invulnerability, then Super Strength, and finally Toughness; Doom always has a chance to reduce or evade damage, but it slowly erodes…
Finally, after the slots where Pulse Wave has released much of his power, Doom is reduced to a single slot where he is once again mortal, and even weakened and Earthbound. Caught on this last slot, there may be little Doom can do against any opponents who are still standing--
--which is why Doom strikes first, hard, and with confidence. He is Doom. His dial may represent his rise and eventual fall in the Secret Wars, but HeroClix allows you to play out battles never seen before--and many of them may end with Doom standing triumphant over his fallen foes.
Mental Shields - great feat! This one is perfect for good MCers with multiple targets. Take control of a few small guys under 100 combined, or MC one big bopper with no feedback damage!
I wish it did allow for Multilpe targets but it doesn't. (does it)
The card says you can only target on character.
Yet they gave us Power Princess nwo no offense to Squadrom fans of which I am but charcters that have not been previewed yet that have more name value include She Hulk, Kang, Nova and Super Skrull for sure and the case could even be made for Graviton, Jubilee and Mar-vell
