I Tbolt to Skrulls all the time. I did it once in a tourney to a LAMP team (not a good LAMP team mind you) and he couldn't touch me, and I pounded his team. I've never seen someone run back to a medic so much.
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing
I think Igor the Super Ape and his creator, Red Ghost are probably the best choices. They are both really cheap, and have Super Senses overlapping with Shape Change at some point.
Gulyadkin Victims List: Spider-Man (ASM 001b), Green Goblin (M10A 004).
Black Panther R (IC) Mjolnir Attempts: 2 for 2! HE IS WORTHY!

Why would Skrull team matter when you're being Poisoned? Sure, if he tries to attack you, but Poison don't care that you're a Skrull.
Honestly, there are better alternatives. The TA, though cheap, is unreliable. Your WCs/Avengers should be picking something more dangerous due to the points invested in their TAs.
V Doc Strange, for example, is far better of committing to sharing Valkyrie's 18D or Sue's 19D than hoping for a 6.
Thematically though, the WCs or Avengers could be impersonated by Skrulls, so if you "must" go with this TA, use it just for cheap characters:
E starter Wasp, R Tigra, R LiveWire, R Saturn Girl, etc.

I agree. It just doesnīt feel worthwile to copy this TA. Sometimes it can be a pain, but mostly you hardly notice it. It can be a nice addition for your wildcards, if they are already miming "offensive" team abilities, but it is a real waste, in my opinion, as the only TA you are copying or ībolting.
The problem with the Skrull TA surfaces, when using a horde of generic Skrulls (or cheap Doombots, for example). If the match is in a "firefight-mode", it is not a problem for anyone to pick another target if you manage to roll a 6 for your Skrull-Warrior. Itīs a different case, if you are tying up an opposing character base to base with a cheap Skrull/Wildcard, and succeed buying time with the TA. This is a bit off the subject, since the topic is about Wildcards and Avengers, but I wanted to mention this anyway.
It matters a lot more for a proper Avenger or Wildcard to get that 6, than it does for a lowly Skrull. Unfortunately no real strategies can be based around the Skrull ability. But itīs worth a try (just donīt blame bad luck with the TA, if you lose)!
My thought was that clix like say E quicksilver who are hard to reach in the first place and who have supersenses may become crazy annoying to pair that up with skulls as well. This was the type of character i had in mind.
E Moon Knight. On a Spider-Friends team. Then all your Spidey friends (who are likely rolling Senses) get Skrull too.
I was T-Bolting to that TA long ago!

That's quite true, but every once in a while I get that hair (so to speak) to play something fun and different and I think I may do that in the next couple weeks. Might be fun using Thor and his Skrull ability and then Impervious.
There's a guy at the shop I play with who loves using a few cheap Skrulls, the R and E Spider-Men from Sinister, and the R Sub-Mariner. In high-point games, he likes to back them up with the new Super-Skrull.
There are occasions when he wins just out of the other player's frustration.
V Cloak and R Chameleon + Entangle for the hard to hit poison combo. I would say it's generally not worth T-bolting to, but if you already have the TA on a team, it can make your wildcard team a little more annoying.
