Are these two compatable? Can I use Pummel to re-roll a Support roll? I was studying Celestial Madonna and was wondering if this combo would work. I know support is a power action, but wouldn't it also be considered a close combat action?

Some Power Actions give a close combat action.
Some give a close combat attack.
Support is of the latter variety so no, Pummel won't work with it.

I don't think it works, as support says to make a roll "against an adjacent target friendly character as though making a close combat attack", and Pummel requires a close combat action.

But the image of your medic pummeling an ally into they feel better conjures up some interesting mental imagery. Maybe some forms of therapeutic massage?
