I'm still reading the X-books hoping for something exteme to happen and I've noticed Mr. Sinister gathering a lot of bad guys. So far he has Sunfire, Gambit on his side.
Spoiler:
Also it seems now that Exodus, Random, Cargrill (may have spelled that wrong), and some chick that slows time have joined his ranks. This team is pretty powerful (to me anyway) and I wonder if anyone else noticed him stalking Siryn and M as well. What is this guy planning? Does anyone think something "big" may be coming up for the X-men during world war Hulk?
I like Sinister as well and his plans are usually pretty good. Depending on which X-men decide to come back from space from both Uncanny and Astonishing this will determine which team he may fight. His team is quite over-cheesed to me and I believe the X-teams would have to come together to take him out this time.
I know in X-Men #200, Gambit stars in the arc and he returns with Sinister and Sunfire. Also, coming out of the Arc may be an ongoing Gambit and the Maruders book which may or may not be bad guy team, kinda like the Thunderbolts for Mutants.
Sinister already did something, well, sinister...he named a Heroclix set after himself and designed the collation on it.
*rimshot*
Okay, seriously, I'm VERY interested to see where Sunfire, Gambit, and the Acolytes joining up with Sinister ends up going. The whole angle of restarting the mutant genome is kinda interesting, but knowing Sinister there's an ulterior motive behind it all. After all, why would he need so many followers if all he wanted to do was jumpstart mutant births?
The further this storyline develops the harder it is for me to wait until the current arcs are over and the X-books actually start dealing with this one head on.
