Comic book or Sci-Fi or wherever. I was wondering about this. Ever try to get with a hot lady in a hot costume, win her over, get her digits, and got a date?

I was wondering if anyone ever tried to hook up with someone at a convention, esp the ones "in costume", like the last guy that responded to the post about what influenced you to fixate on a certain female superhero costume. lol

But I figured I'd start a post about "landing a date" at a Dragon Con or wherever.

Anyone guys here ever do that?

When we went to the big party, more folks seemed intimitated to approach her. Only the gay men had the cojones to come up and ask for a picture.

Why just go for chicks in costumes? Any girl that's at con be it dragon, wizard world, comic con, etc. If she's there she automatically earns a lot of hot points in my book.

I hope there's a lot of cute girls at wizard world, I know its a smaller con but hey you never know.

Thing is, I'm almost 35 years old...so it's kind of hard to meet women MY age that's into that kind of thing. So I might as well chase after the 18 to 25 Anime fans. lol.

If she made the costume herself... that's ultra-cool-sexy bonus points in my book!

I know a female nerd friend who says 'If you can't get laid at a convention, you're not even trying.'

Until she said that, I hadn't even CONSIDERED trying.

You're in the realm of nerds. You're a nerd. Chances are, nerd chicks will be easier to approach.

Thing is, I think in some cases, some ladies are attention seekers, and nerds would stand LESS of a chance with them, because their demand has increased TEN fold.

Well I only got a couple of years left before it becomes creepy trying to pick up chicks at a con....so at WWLA i am going on the hunt!

I hope that cute red head girl who was playing clixs last year is there this year....

She seems like she'd be dating someone like Alice or Marilyn Manson or be a contestant on Rock Star.
