Arrgh, no more clones please! While his death is unpopular I really hope they have the courage to leave Cap dead if he finally is. The revolving door of death is even worse than killing off characters.

With Tony's new public servant superhero ideology, I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to appoint a new Cap in a public ceremony, only to have it blow up in his face, public relations-wise.

Movie coming out or not, Cap probably won't be coming back for at least a couple years. After all, Thor has been dead for quite a while. They keep SAYING they're going to bring him back, but . . . .

Still, hyped publicity stunt or not, Cap's death did resonate with me a bit, more so than a lot of other character deaths within the past 10 years. It actually made me angry and a little sad.

Like it or not, if a fictional story touches your emotions, then they did a good job with it. I'm MUCH more interested in the repercussions of Cap's death across the Marvel universe than I am with Spidey's ID being public.

They're stirring up the pot a lot lately at Marvel. Some of it good, some of it bad. But none of it boring.

The only downside is that my favorite character, Iron Man, is taking a lot of abuse, most of it unfounded.

Still, it beats the time they made him a teen!!
