Just a quick post here. I'm thinking about picking up Spartan Total Warrior for the PS2 this weekend. Has anyone played it? Can someone tell me anything about it. Is it worth my time to play?

I think I played like the 1st 3 lvls and had my fill. I wouldn't pay full price for it but it was kind of fun. I think I stopped because it got a little too objective based after a while; "fight your way to catapult 1 and shut it down, find such and such and destroy it, etc." It doesn't seem much like 300 if that's what you're hoping for, but I could see enjoying it if you really wanted to. I just had other games to move onto at the time.

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and picked it up. I realized it wasn't going to be anything like 300. That would the greatest if it were. I just hoped it would be a fun game. So far it's good and it's holding my interest. Sure it's completely and totally inaccurate historically, but who cares, it's a hack and slash video game.
