Ok, so I become a fan of the Teen Titans about a year after Teen Titans 3 came out. I had heard of them before, namely from Go!, but the team grew on me rather quickly. My big question is, who does the public view as the actual members of the titans?

There have been many incarnations of the team, and each one has several members that were in it for a week or so, so a member database can only tell me so much. I know that the major members are:

Nightwing, Arsenal, Tempest, The Flash, Troia, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Robin, Wondergirl, Kid Flash, and Superboy.

These members are the 5 original Teen Titans, the 4 New Teen Titans, and the 4 Young Justice promotees. I know that the original line was popular, and TNTT was also fairly popular and the current line is popular, but how popular were these lines: Team Titans, Teen Titans 2, and New Titans?

Also, how popular are these characters? And did I leave any popluar characters out?

Omen, Dove, Hawk, Bumble Bee, Herald, Jerico, Terra, Jesse Quick, Damage, Speedy, Kid Devil, Ravager, and Miss Martian.

Dick Grayson Robin times as lider of the team.

the Teen Titans 2 lead by Atom never get the popular atention. that team never have a change (By Artist Dan Jurgens) Jurgens do everything what he could but the characters in that teams are soo oscure what I don't even remember the name of any of the team member, just Atom as the lider.

I think you answered your own question there. Most of the "inbetweener" Titans, if you will, are really not that famous or popular.

Most fans also like Jerico. You could argue that he goes with the rest of the ones on the list above. A few people would even say that Terra belongs up there (but I don't).

Speedy is awesome. I was introduced to her during Kevin Smith's run of Green Arrow and she is one of my favorite characters. Shes a step below the "Young Justice" Titans in overall popularity, but I like her just as much.

Kid Devil hasn't been around too long, but he's very likable. He's cut from the same mold as Beast Boy and Impulse to a certain extent but I say hes a good character all the same. As long as he doesn't die or anything, I expect him to have some fans pretty soon.

Miss Martian is very similar in personality to Starfire from the tv show only more believable (you know, as far as alien superhero chicks go ). I like her but shes relatively unheard of.

As for the rest of them, they aren't necessarily unliked, but I have never heard anyone say that any of them were a favorite character.

If you like Teen Titans, I highly suggest that you read back issues of the Young Justice era team. It started with Robin, Impulse, and Robin, yet in time became one of the best incarnations of the group. I think that Young Justice was usually an underrated series that deserved more attention than what it got. I was very disappointed when I found out that it was being cancelled - and I almost did not get on board with the current Geoff Johns title. That having been said, the current series is doing well all on its own and I am an avid reader. All the same, I miss the humor and fun factor that Young Justice seemed to always have - in contrast with the grim tone that we see in today's Teen Titans.

When it comes to collecting, I am a purist. I am so OCD about some things that I would have to get a carpload of figures to justify having all of the Titans. I don't play anymore, so I am trying to keep my collection very small, and all I have right now are:

Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Robin, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, Superboy, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Superman (the pre-crisis Titans and their mentors).

I am waiting for February to see if the starting 5 will be in it. It would be great if they were a pre-constructed 400 point team like the Icons team.

Way way better than the current Titans. Then again it was more light hearted. Two different flavors I guess.

No one mentioned Red Star, Panthera and Wilde-baby? I'm shocked. Titans to the core they were.

Favorite "side" Titans would have to be Lilith, Francis Kane/Magenta and Thunder & Lightning.

I've been trying to find cheap Young Justice comics.
