1. We have always played that Rookie Shaman doesn't actualy fly (so can't carry) and is an on foot piece in all respects. (It's not an issue with the Exp and the Vet, as no one plays them...)
Where, given that ours has a wing symbol, is the errata that says so ?


2. Critical Strike - can the "token-zap" only be used by the player of the card, or can both players use it ?


3. Gun Turret Heavy Object - card wording seems to mean that only the player who placed it can use it. Oppinions ?

1. Shaman REV should have the book symbol, and cannot fly or carry. Check the Marvel errata & clarifications, OR the character corrections section of my document.

2. Either player can use it. The counter only increases on the first player's turn though.

3. Either player can use it.

Further: remember that the Judge is always right. Even when he isn't. (That is, at an event where the Judge is presiding, his ruling is law even if it contradicts the "official" way that the ruling should have been made.)

These characters should have the Boot symbol instead of the Wing symbol.

Critical Strike: At the beginning of each of the first player’s turns, place a strike token on this card if there are fewer than six strike tokens on this card. When a friendly character is attacking a single opposing character and the result is a critical hit, you may choose to deal damage normally, or deal damage equal to the number of strike tokens on this card and then remove all strike tokens from this card.

The part of the 'friendly character' only means that it is the active player's choice on whether to use the tokens or the normal damage
If the card said 'when you roll a critical hit, deal damage equal to the number of strike tokens on this card' then it would be no choice.
Also, if it said the first player or the player of this card (see Communication Breakdown for an example of this)

Laser Turret: (optional) Once per turn when a character friendly to you occupies this object's square, give this object a free action to make a ranged combat attack (Attack 8, Damage 2, Range 4, Targets 1) against any opposing figure.

The 'character friendly to you' is addressing anyone, not just the placer.

Last year, I went 10-2 over the weekend, and won the sealed event on the Sunday, getting the masterpiece Loki for my pains ! (Traded it for the "green" / "good" Pheonix bigfig ! - Hooray !!!)

This year, of course, a similar performance would see me on a flight to the USA for the Worlds !!! While I REALY want to go (and it's the only way I could afford it) I doubt lightning (or this years version of my dumpster-wielding-maniac) will strike twice...which would realy be a shame, as I realy want to play v some of you guys ... still, even I know that someone called Steve will probably win...( Hunt, de Bono, Beer ... there are so many ...).

Won't stop me trying though.
