Last week, I was playing NGN Iron Man with Stunning Blow. I played against a team that included Ares and U Ultimate Magnito.
I was using Iron Man and his stunning bow to great effect. I think I was able to hold Ares down while dumping all the damage onto Magnito. However, once during the game, I double-targetted yet again and rolled a crit hit against the two. Now since crit hit damage affects all again, did I have to take feedback damage? I thought I did, so I gave myself a click.
So, I am not trying to inflame the current rewording debate. I am asking about Incap and a Critical Hit against Mystics.

If you attack a Mystic and deal damage, you take a click of that ol' feedback magic. This would count for a 0 damage attack that winds up being a critical hit.
Short: You were correct to take the click.
TRADES. eBay.
An Admin told me that I'm "too smart" for Another Realm. I hold that as a standing order.
A critical hit with Incapacitate will indeed deal one damage to each character hit by the attack, and if that damage isn't absorbed by a damage reducer or avoided by super-senses or mastermind, it will trigger mystic(or crossgen or arachnos) "feedback" damage.
So in the given situation, Iron Man would only take feedback damage from Ares if his damage reducer had been outwitted, or if Iron Man had armor piercing as well. Otherwise the 1 point of damage from the critical hit would just bounce off on Ares Impervious, Invulnerability or Toughness.
Hope that helps

And that's why you would have won fellowship if you hadn't outright won the tournament. I thought I ruled that damage being reduced to zero was the same as not taking any damage in that case, thus preventing the activation of Mystics. If you'd had AP on Iron Man, it would have been a different story, as Ares would have actually taken a click of damage, whether you wanted him to or not.
And I just checked the WK rules forum and nbperp said the same thing as Melkhor. Damage reducers would kick on on the crit damage and the Mystic wouldn't retaliate.
And to add, that ONLY applies for 0 damage attacks like Incap..... it does NOT apply for NO damage attacks like MC.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

Even without incap, if you have multiple lightning bolts and time you target a mystic and another piece with a very high defense (expecting to shunt all the damage to the non-mystic if you can hit them) and then you roll double sixes the mystic has been hit for 1 extra damage automatically so if they don't have damage reduction (or you have AP) be prepared to take a click.
