I just can't see spending 75 points on E Falcon's dial...you could change Fly-By to normal HSS and he'd only maybe be worth his points...

I'm glad that it is INDEED penetrating damage on V Moon Knight's dial...Now you can put Life Model Decoy on him and not only gain Toughness-like resistance but also negate the negative effects of his special power! I think it'd be a great combo!

It should...because penetrating damage states that it cannot be reduced by POWERS that reduce damage dealt...but a feat is not a power so penetrating damage does not go through the feat Life Model Decoy.

Before anyone says it, Force Field is different because Force Field grants you the power Toughness and therefore penetrating damage can go through the feat-granted POWER of Toughness.

I was hoping the original Inquest article was right and it was penetrating, and not unavoidable, damage so you could do this.

Falcon isn't worth 76 points, but Moon Knight is worth 50?

Um...yes, he's a MUCH better value at 50 points with Life Model Decoy than Falcon is with no feats at 75 points. He has a better attack and can do more damage than Falcon.

Xstreme if this is true then Moon Knight will be a beast!! 55 points of swiss cheese. Ambush + Life Model Decoy + Moon knight is a killer combo!!

But a full dial of move/attack powers does have to count for something...

I actually think for the most part a full dial of move-and-attack powers seems to hinder a figure more than no move-and-attack powers at all...just because it seems to make them so darn expensive.

We already have a few characters that have full dial move-and-attack powers(that aren't HSS and I don't see them played very much for the same reasons Falcon won't...Archangel and Rhino come to mind.

I mean there are HSSers who have it down their dial that get used but his Fly-By is a really weak HSS and most people with a low speed and HSS get overlooked most of the time.

Moon Knight finally gets some justice...im so stoked to see him get good play. I like the stats and for 50 pts I dont think thats bad at all...if you dont like him send him my way.

I found the perfect use for him: fun...unless of course that has no place in HeroClix anymore...

It does, just not in discussions about gameplay balance. Fun has it's own place. Over there.

Strategically speaking you can get vet Echo for 38 points.

That's true, but what does it have to do with the conversation?

V Moon Knight brings as much to the table as Echo, if not more...so I don't see how it is an argument against his effectiveness for his point cost.
