If I played a battlefield condition before a game can the other person deny it and says that they do not wish to play with conditions. Do I have to respect their wishes? If they do not play do they forfeit a game?
If a player wants to play a Battlefield Condition, that player may. It's in the FAQ (download here).
If the tournament is a sealed, you may play any BFC that you pull, for all rounds. If it's a constructed tournament, you have a BFC hand (see FAQ for more detailed information).
It's up to the opposing player to be prepared, they cannot force you to not play a BFC. If they are that picky about not playing against a BFC, then it would be a forfeit.
Just wondering, but why is INFERNO a good BFC to play? why whould you want to do damage to your own team at the begining of every turn? could someone enlighten me on this

BFC effect everyone on the map. At the beginning of your turn, you'd damage your characters. At the beginning of your opponent's turn, he'd damage his characters. You'd use this BFC to help limit Stealth and the like.
To specifically answer your question, this could be a great way to get around activation clicks since it literally requires no effort on your part; just get the character to be activated into hindering terrain (some maps even have them in the starting areas) and at the beginning of your next turn, click the dial and the character is ready to go.

One thing to note on this, though.... it wouldn't work during the first turn unless you've given the "Activation fig" an action.... because First Turn Immunity prevents a figure that hasn't moved from taking damage.
It would certainly work for your second turn, though.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

Hence that whole "and at the beginning of your next turn, click the dial and the character is ready to go" part I used to end the post.
By the way, giving the character an action is irrelevant for the purposes of first turn immunity. In order for a character not to be covered by first turn immunity, they must be in a different square than the one they started the game in. You can give a character an action, have it run out and grab an object (for example), and run it back into the exact same square in which it started the game and it would still be covered by first turn immunity.
If you're running a theme team, play Inferno, and choose to ignore it. Then you can use the hindering for stealth purposes, but if they try it, they get "burned" ...

Ah! Missed that part.... funny, with all the posts today about not reading the full post or full part of the rules. LOL!!

True, true..... I don't often see 0-move actions (or "running in a circle"), so I never think to specify that it needs to be some sort of movement out of that square.
