I know that you can ranged attack an adjacent opposing figure that is Hovering provided there are no other adjacent opposing figures.
Special powers such as RCE, etc can be used in those cases.
What about the multi-target attack.
Say V Boomerang is adjacent to enemy Firelord and multi-attacks.
One goes on firelord...can the other 2 go on enemy Prof X and enemy Human Torch who are 8 spaces away provided all other criteria are met?
thanks
You can only shoot firelord in your case. You cant range away from the adjacent fig,i.e firelord. If firelord and torch were both adjacent to you you could range both of them as well, however if professor x was also adjacent then you would be forced to attack only one enemy fig as prof.x is grounded and wont allow you to use a ranged attack anymore.
"Success can test ones mettle as surely as the strongest adversary"
four_winds is pretty much right on. The exception being if your figure was also a flyer. Then it could use the multi-target ability doing multiple ranged attacks against multiple adjacent figures.
From the FAQ:
Quote
A hovering figure that is adjacent to an opposing figure may make a rangedcombat attack, but only against the adjacent figure.
