I am pretty sure that I have read some where that when making a ranged combat attack that you count the squares in between your figure and the target figure and not the square the target occupies. Am I correct, and if so please list where this is written.

Hey Everyone,

I have been lurking on the Realm for a few months, and finally had a chance to play a game and had something happen I was not sure how it worked.

I know this has probably been asked before. I don't get to play as much as I would like (months in between games), so I am not 100% familiar with all the rules. I was he one who got slammed by this, and lost half my force in 3 rounds since I was unsure on the ruling.

When someone has RCE and has multiple Lightning Bolts ... does the increased damage from RCE apply?

Example:
Veteran Cyclops -10 Range / 3 Lightning Bolts and RCE on the First click and 2 damage.

1) Can he target 3 people, applying RCE to all of them for 4 damage?

2) Can he target 3 people, damaged reduced to 1, but add 2 for RCE for a total of 3 damage to each one hit?

3) Can he target 3 people, damaged reduced to 1, but use RCE on one of the hits to increase to 3? (3 Targets hit ... 2 of them take the 1 damage for multiple targets, and 1 takes 3 -or 4- for RCE)?

4) Can he only use RCE if he is targeting 1 people with his Ranged Action? (Please respond to this point if it is true, just to clarify for me please)

You can only use RCE if you target 1 character.You cannot use it on multiple targets. When you attack multipule targets the damage is reduced to 1 click per target an a successful attack to each target.

RCE specifically states on the PAC that it can only be used against a single target. So, none of these can be done.
This is true. This one is correct and legal.
