I I pulse wave the little "starlets" that starro throws out would he get hit as well. Because these pogs make blocking terrain for starro I was wondering if PW ignores this.

The Starrophytes are considered blocking terrain when it comes to destroying them. Since PW doesn't have any effect on terrain, PW-ing the Starrophytes does you no good at all. You need to hit them with some kind of other, terrain-damaging attack that deals at least 3 damage (just like destroying a wall or a square of blocking terrain).
If your PW-er can draw LOF to Starro himself, then the PW could be used on him just fine.
Starrophytes: Starrophytes are not considered to be characters or terrain. They do however affect line of fire and occupy squares as if there were characters and they can be destroyed following the same rules for destroying blocking terrain. A max of 12 Starrophytes can be on the battlefield at any time.
Heres my Starro / Starrophyte question: So which is it? Do they have the same adjacency rules of characters or not? Can a figure adjacent to a Starrophyte make a ranged attack AWAY from the Starrophyte or not?
Do they have the same adjacency rules of characters or not?
It's not really an either/or question - there are many parts to adjacency, some of which apply to the Starrophytes, some of which do not.

Let's see what the rulebook says...

A character can attack in any direction, regardless of the direction it is facing.
The obvious question is of course "Is a Starrophyte an opposing character?", to which the answer is "of course not - it says right in the rules they are not characters or terrain.". So fire away, but be aware that the Starrophyte blocks line of fire as if it was a character.
That's my understanding at least - I'm not very up-to-date about the Starro nuances.

Sorry Quebbster...but page 25 doesnt answer my question fully or else I wouldnt have posted it.
This statement is contradictory and as usual, Wks has problems with the simplicity that can be and should be the English language.
The Starrophytes OCCUPY squares as if they were characters...and they are definitely not considered friendly and would then have to be opposing BUT theyre not to be considered characters BUT they are when OCCUPYING squares ARHHAHAG!!!!

Starrophytes occupy squares as if they were characters.
This does not mean character adjacency rules applies for the Starrophytes.
Basically, a Starrpphyte prevents line of fire from being drawn through that square (as a character does) and prevent figures from entering said square (lika figure does) but nothing else. Anything that takes place in another square is unaffected by the Starrophyte.
