I saw a change in the figure gallery of the Wizkids site and wondered if the MOE team ability had changed at all.
Stated in the Super Power Card section:
"Masters of Evil: When two or more members of the Masters of Evil are adjacent to an opposing character, they can all attack using only one of your actions. Mark any character who
attacks this way with an action token."
Stated in the figure gallery section when you click on the MOE symbol:
"The Masters of Evil take action conservation to an entirely new level. If you have two or more Masters facing a foe together, they can all attack for one action. This includes ranged attacks if everyone is adjacent. Also, you are not limited to attacking just the adjacent foe with this swarm attack."
Now I take those as being two different things. The second one (new?) says that you CAN use range, meaning not be adjecent to the target or what? It also is saying you are not limited to attacking just the adjacent foe, so all of your MOE members can use the ability on someone else?
I'm a little confused. Thanks if you can help.
Oh yeah, forgot about that. Do you all of your MOE team members attacking have to be adjacent to the target or can they be at a range(like Boomerang) as long as they are all attacking the common target? Otherwise most of them are range fighters and can't even use the ability usefully, like against toughness or invulnerability.
(B)oomerang, (U)ltron, (W)hirlwind, and (Y)ellowjacket all are adjacent to the poor Thug in the center, so they can all put the Smackdown! upon him. Ultron and Yellowjacket may both use ranged attacks since they are fliers, but Boomerang and Whirlwind must still use close combat attacks. However all powers may be used as normal. So if Ultron was really stupid, he could EE Thug and hit all his teammates. Whirlwind can even Flurry, and Yellowjacket could Incapacitate. Each attack is a separate roll with separate damage, so any defensive powers like Toughness would apply to each attack. When finished, each character who declared MoE team would receive a token, but only one action would come from your pool for the turn.
Hope this helps!
Whenever someone asks me what I think the most dangerous animal is, i tell them it has to be a shark riding on an elephant, just eating and trampling everything in sight.
Yes, this definitely helps, thank you. I always thought that each of them could attack with only one of them getting a token. I also thought that EE didn't hurt friendly figures. Thanks
