So far my fav Fast Ball Special targets are Omega Red, Karnak and Iron Fist. Throw a cheap Outsider on yer team and watch Colossus toss yer army at the enemy like a farmer chuckin bails of hay.

Personally, it'd be Blades and/or CR figures. I'm DYING to have Colossus throw out Sinister Wolverine, with what the starting 4 damage and CR/EW on the next click?
YES, BABY!
Alternatively, Shatterstar's great too...Blades, throw him and then he gets onto 17 +CR!

Oh I agree with that as well, but with the way Omega Red, Karnak and Iron Fists dials run, it can be down right cruel. Omega Red especially, his SP, poison, flurry. Omega Red is never without Armor Piercing now. Bwahahahahahahaha.
And the color pattern of both Omega Red and Colossus just look sweet, not to mention both having chunks of a destroyed Sentinel.

Oh, yeah, the destroyed Sentinels look cool.
Let's see who has 'em...
Gambit's leaping off a hand.
Colossus's holding a head.
Omega Red's springing from a chest.
Who else?

Thats all of them so far, I went on a frantic search for em all hahahaha. Wouldve been really cool if there was a whole Sentinel in the set.
Dang, I actually thought there was. Not that you could pull them off the figures and assemble yourself one but being able to field a "Sentinel Parts" team would be hilarious.

2pts for a potential of 2 extra damage, sounds like a mighty fine trade to me
I don't know, I've see pog points make the difference between winning and losing a game. Heck, in our Starro final week I got into the finals game because I did KO my opponent's pog. Even though I lost the game I ended up with just enough points to be second overall and make it into the finals. I then played the same person again and beat him the second time, thus securing a Starro.
Of course your mileage may vary (and it is moot anyway as we have no >30pt pog... yet)

Tossing Wolverine is kinda counterproductive IMO - his damage value is irrelevant when thrown (he is treated like a light object, so damage is set at 2), and the unavoidable damage means he loses Invulnerability more or less for nothing. It's probably better to let him Charge in at first and save the Fastballs for later when his stats are less impressive.
Shatterstar works better, but again his damage value (and B/C/F) is irrelevant when thrown. B/C/F does help to compensate for the damage penalty from being Fastballed though.

So...the -2 to AV and to Damage is applied AFTER the thrown attack?
Colossus throws Wolverine. He does his attack. THEN he has the -2 applied to his AV and Damage until the end of the turn?
What's the point of the -2 AFTER the attack?

Wolverine doesn't do an attack at all - when FBS is used he is considered to be a light object and only deals 2 damage. Colossus is the one doing the attack. After FBS has been used, Wolverine is put down and receives -2 to attack and damage in case he wants to attack the same round.

Gotcha. I forget that it's Colossus doing the throw, so it's his AV compared to the target's DV and is dealt damage equal to a LO.
Wolverine takes 1 for being hurled.
He can still attack, albeit at -2 to AV/Damage.
Thanks, Queb!
