I think what's even more damning is Joker being into that kinda thing too. At least I think the Killing Joke is still canon.
While Joker was brutal in that story, he did not rape Babs. Nor was Black Canary raped in that other story. These are to things that dc swears up and down. As to weather it is still cannnon, it wasn't originaly supposed to be, but it became cannon. Check back in after the next Booster Gold issue.

The Black Canary thing is a retcon though as at one point DC even had it down in one of her Who's Who bios that she'd been tortured and raped. Now it's jus tortured.
Frankly, leaving a crippled woman on the floor and taking photos of her nude body is pretty much a form of rape. It may not be "physically invasive" but it's a "sexual power trip designed to humiliate and leave the victim helpless". So, no pass for the Joker either.
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

To sum it up, Monarch has rounded up three of the best versions of Earth's Heroes (i.e. Gotham-by-Gaslight Batman, Red Rain Batman and Batman of Earth-19) from across the Multiverse to duke it out with their counterparts to duke it out with their counterparts to see who is the best and thus worth adding to his army.
I give it a 7/10 since it's the first issue of this mini-series and thus still has potential to become much better.
I thought one of the best parts was that the main Superman that the plot follows (though not the only Superman there) was the one from Dark Knight Returns! How great is that? It's not exactly the version that I would have picked, but hey, it's still cool to see him back in action.

You should always take those Who'sWho and Handbook Of The MU books with a large dose of salt.
It was never explicitly stated in the books that Black Canary was raped, and fairly early in Mike Grell's Green Arrow run it was explicitly stated that she was not.
Yoda of Borg, we are: Futile, resistance is. Assimilate you, we will.
Okay, that is a bit weird, that she'd have an objection to Dr. Light that she didn't to Dr. Psycho. But in general, I can see why she'd have that reaction to Dr. Light (and psychic tweaking might have kept her from having a similar reaction to Dr. Psycho. I dunno, continuity in comics is overrated no matter which company you are).
But Cheetah has Battle Fury, so Dr. Psycho wouldn't be able to ... ah, never mind. Your point stands.
To boot, I don't know how often Cheetah and Psycho have actually teamed up. I'm sure it's been a few times, since they're both WW villains. And the most recent time was in Heinberg's relaunch. It's an angle Heinberg apparently didn't pursue, but I wouldn't call foul on McDuffie for doing so with Dr. Light.
