Hello all,

I have a theme team, my opponent does not. I play exhaustion BFC. I choose to "ignore" it for my team. Does my opponents team still have to abide by it?

In the LOSH rules it says that a theme team may cancel a BFC, but in the following example it says that the theme team can ignore it for his/her characters. Which would it be?


3 weeks ago my judge let my opponent do it to me with his "Malice BFC" in a sealed tourney, and yet just last week he would not let me do it to my opponent in the floor tourney. Still don't know why he was not consistant.

"Cancel" was a misprint - theme teams ignore one BFC of their choice, meaning it does not affect them but still has effect on their opponent.

you can play a battle field and then ignore it. you can only ignore one though. so don't play malice unless your ready to ignore it. i would say try to see if there are non theme teams and then play malice. that way your good. also i'd play krakoa if i were you. alot of ppl play stealth and if they're not on an object all by itself, they;ll take krakoa. make sure you use it on a person with invuln/imperv. cause they'll get incapped if they take no damage.

it's tricky to play but you can get it if you play it right.

Is there any Official erratta regarding the "Cancel" being a misprint so as I can "officially" inform my judge?

The latest E&C on wizkids site addresses many feats on what occurs when they are ignored. I also addresses Ordinary Day + BFC + Ignore (which gets very confusing!).
