Unus is also fun to play "Get outta here!" with someone's fig by doing a TK attack for 0 damage, throwing them 10 squares away and then bouncing them 3 more (off a building or into a wall).
Consider all your options!

Holy Carp!!! I never thought about doing that...lol. A successful TK of an opposing figure would let him use his Bounce as well...Bloody Brilliant Jack, and rep to you.
The tournament after Christmas our venue is having a 200pt, 1 figure game. I am seriously leaning towards using Unus just for fun, and this might be the one thing I needed to push me over the edge.

If you are going to do that, you should definitely feat him to the gills (AP especially). Frankly, though, I am pretty sure Unus alone won't work so well in that format... there is a reason he's only 90 points
But I do agree Unus is a fun piece but in a 200pt, single figure tourney, he's going to be manhandled. In this kind of event, the obvious choice is....TOYMAN!!! Plus a feat or two...dozen...of course since you will be under build by a small amount.

Let's consider it an intellectual exercise!
I agree Armor Piercing is a must, otherwise Unus won't be able to affect damage reducers. He also desperately needs the old FRaN combo - Fortitude, Repulsor Shield and Nanoarmor, to prevent his mighty defensive powers from being Outwitted. Protected is pretty much a given as well, to soften the first blow at least. That puts him at 164 points.
The rest is trickier. I'd definitely recommend Nanobots - with 2 damage throughout the dial it's a good way to keep him healthy. Streak of Luck will probably also work well between his high defense and defensive powers. Lucky Break is always a good idea if you have points to spare. That's 184 points... And now it gets tricky.
I'd probably go with Telekinetic Reach in order to give Unus more options for ranged attacks, and then fill out the remaining 4 points with either Inside Information or Monster Hunter, whichever you think you are more likely to benefit from - Unus's only viable keyword is Mutant, but there are a lot of those, but Monster Hunter probably gives him a little more flexibility in that it ups his damage as well.
Other options I skipped:
* Shellhead - helps keep his defense up, but only works on the later hafl of his dial.
* Endurance - mostly because there wasn't points left and since you need to be careful with Unus's short dial.
Of course, if the tournament is Unrestricted you will have a lot more options - Taunt would for instance be a lot of fun on Unus.
So, to sum up:
Unus 90
Fortitude 25
Repulsor Shield 25
Telekinetic Reach 12
Armor Piercing 10
Nanobots 10
Protected 8
Nanoarmor 6
Lucky Break 5
Streak of Luck 5
Monster Hunter 3
199 points

I'm sold. Though I would like to point out that Streak of Luck will rely on his defense value exclusively, as it requires a failed attack roll. Even Super Senses doesn't cause the attack roll to fail; only the attack. If I'm reading the card right.
