I noticed months ago that the newest version of the rules rescinded the 'fishtail' move on the part of double-based figures (which effectively increased their movement range by 1).
What about Sentinels and other colossal figures? May they effeectively add one square to their movement? (I realize my wording might not be super-precise.) The Advanced Sentinel rules say it is allowed, but the Legion rules came out after the Advacned Sentinel rules...
Double-base Characters
Q: I’ve heard that a double-base character can gain an extra square of movement. How does this work?
A: Double-based figures do not gain an extra square of movement. As per the rulebook “A double-base character
must end its movement so that both ends of its base occupy one of the squares within its speed value…”
KILOWOG not KILOWAG, KILAWOG or KILAWAG ROGUE not ROUGE (which happens to be RED in French) GRAVITON not GRAVITRON (Decepticon that never got made?)
This is for double-based characters, but i see no mention specifically regarding colossal figures. I don't see the answer in the PDF you link, either...
I believe they only covered the "fishtailing" for double-based figs in the rulebook, but didn't mention it on Colossal...... but I do recall people saying Colossal figs couldn't do extra movement. Can anyone site where the Colossals are restricted (no docs at work, and the rulebook doesn't say "no")
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
