my bro and a friend play a lot and decided to have a kinda winning team stays on league. I'm thinking of using the following, but any ideas to modify or adjust to improve would be appreciated. I'd also like to know if anyone has any ideas of any battlefield conditions that would go well with this team.
KC Flash - 150 pts + Armor piercing
SV Silver surfer (V) - 265 pts + shellhead
JL Batman - 75 pts
AV iron man - 154 pts
CD Dr. Mid-Nite (V) - 58 pts
FF Tigra (V) - 54 pts
UV Destiny - 20pts
Legionairre - 4pts
Total: 800pts
Flash will pick off the tougher enemies defenses, whilst ss rampages around doing the real damage. Iron man can take out any stealthed characters. Tigra and legionaire are tie up pieces. Dr midnite will heal when needed. Batman - will just do what the bat does best and whoop!
I'd consider at least 1 TK piece in an 800 point game
I'd probably take out Tigra, and add in Cosmic Boy from the LoSH starter. Also, how many turns per round? You have a small team that could very easily get out actioned by a 'clown car' team.(IE a team of alot of small point mobile high damage attackers)

You're right actually, I didn't consider TK, I dont have cosmic boy so I might use Blink for 45 points leaving 10 spare (room for another feat and could scrap legionairre if needed).
My opposition tends to prefer heavy hitting teams, he has just got green scar, so I will probably have to face him!!
As there will be three of us, it will be time limted rather than number of rounds each.
Also, if you have him, you might want to consider swapping out the V Surfer and putting in the CoG one. That would free up an additional 34 points. Add the 10 from taking out Tigra, and you could put in another cheap mobile attacker. V Echo is only 38 points, and she brings a ton to the table. Charge, BCF, Super Senses. At the very least, if she misses a good BCF roll, she can be a tie up piece that, if she makes any Super Senses rolls, can be very annoying to your opponent.
If your opponent prefers a heavy hitting team, I'd go with the 'clown car' team for many reasons.
1) You'll be able to out action/out manouver him.
2) Any pieces you lose will be only a small portion of your team. Any pieces he loses will potentially cripple his team.
3) You'll be able to do more damage to him each turn, rather than 1 per round with KC Flash.
A better 800 point team might be:

M&M Xavier w/Mental Shields 146 (329) Outwit, Incap. Mind Con. 12 Range and the special power Perplex

It's a fun team that has high mobility, good range, lots of damage dealing capabilities, some nice support (TK x2, Perplex x3, Outwit, PC x2). It's almost entirely thematic (take out V echo and add another Mutant if you want) and I feel that it would do much better than your previous team. The TA allows you to use Pete Wisdom as a healing sponge for Storm, Xavier, Gambit or Emma. Gambit is pushable (in fact, you want him on that second click) and if 1 of your figures gets taken out, your whole team won't be crippled.

W.I.T - unfortunately, I dont have half those pieces for your team, although I have to say it looks pretty cool.
IMALEXIMSWEET - I dont have thwart either, I have been trying to get hold of that feat for some time now, but with no luck.
Just as an update though, I took the advice of W.I.T originaly and swapped tigra for a TK piece. I bought a booster for monsters and mutations and luckily got given an indy johnny alpha promo for 44 points with TK - Happy Days!!
So I used him, the 10 points left over were spent on using forcefield feat on johnny alpha to give him some damage reducing ability.
I'm happy to say the result so far is that I have won 4 games with this team without loosing.
Turns out the TK piece is actually very much a key figure, so thanks W.I.T
