Salvation Run #3 - Rated 7 - Good ish, though I'm not sure why anyone sane would follow the Joker as opposed to Lex Luthor. But Luthor's scheme to instigate a big brawl and get Joker and the loafers out of the camp might backfire on him...
Oh, and Martian Manhunter is monitoring the situation. Where ISN'T he hiding these days?
I liked it. It shows that the Joker has a very charismatic personality as well as Lex and is able to inspire people to follow him. Besides, he played up the empowerment issue whereby with Joker you will supposedly have more of a say in what happens as opposed to just blindly following Lex. Granted, I'm not saying I'd choose Joker over Lex, but I could certainly see how some of these characters could make that decision.
And as far as Martian Manhunter goes, I'm not reading other books that he's in but if he is in other books at the same time, can we have some semblance of continuity please? If he's on this planet with the criminals, then just keep him out of any other books during this time frame. It's really not that difficult, is it?

Salvation Run is "out-of-sync" with Suicide Squad, so I wouldn't be surprised to see other gaffs too.

Aahhh, thanks.
Of course, that can be either a good thing or a bad thing depending on how it's presented. As I'm not reading Suicide Squad, it doesn't really affect my reading in the least.
Suicide Squad #6...classic Squad setup, including the obligatory "wolf in the fold" aspect. I hope this turns into a continuing series with Ostrander at the helm.
I suspect Waller's got their number, big time. There's no way in heck she'd allow three men who've tried to kill her in the past (The General, Thinker II and Heller) collude like that without her catching a whiff of it. Expect Eiling to get a nasty surprise next issue.

Oh I agree. John Ostrander is as likely to allow the Wall to fall to a bunch of criminals as Keith Giffen is likely to allow Max Lord become a manipulative killer....err wait a minute....

Well, that'd happen sooner then Wonder Woman could snap a man's neck.
