I don't have time, money, or patience, to collect and read all 52 comic issues so I picked up the novel for a couple bucks. It was cheap enough, I figured why not. Anyone read the comics AND the book? Is the book any comparison to the comics?

How are you on Realms then? And how's that flat screen TV working out in your room?
1)Hell, I'll take a shot in the mouth of hundreds...
2)Tylk, if you can't find it, LMK. My comic shop sells it and I'd gladly buy you it if you give me the money for it and shipping.
I started it. You definitely get some description and detal that you don't get out of a comic. However, you also lose the aspect of detail that you get from pictures.
All in all, worth 2 bucks. An easy way to quickly catch up with the last year of comics!

If it's the novel by Greg Cox I can get it (and might tonight) at Chapters locally. He also wrote an Infinite Crisis novel and he seems to specialize in many tv, comic and movie novel adaptations.
KILOWOG not KILOWAG, KILAWOG or KILAWAG ROGUE not ROUGE (which happens to be RED in French) GRAVITON not GRAVITRON (Decepticon that never got made?)
Books/comics will always have their pluses/minus' over one another. But 52 had some nice art in it...
And sometimes it didn't...
I'll probably end up reading the book eventually too. Where'd you get it for 2 bucks?
The Border's by me closed down, and had an atleast 50 percent off all stock blowout. Plus my mom's membership discount=HUGE savings. We saved over 200 dollars on books.
I bought I AM AMERICA (and so can you), World War Z, like 20 Discworld Books, and 52 the novel. I went to the comic book section, and it was ravaged. There was hardly anything left on the shelves, and the few remaining comics were sprawled across the floor. Not that I'm surprised. Comics are way over priced, so naturally they'll be the first thing to go during a major sale.
I saw some Green Lantern novels, and a Dark Knight novel, but they seemed kinda... junky. I'm just glad with the steals I got!
