as bad as abomination is...he kinda...aint. no stop. stop throwing tomatoes! ouch. plz stop?
ok abomination has 1 problem and thats his AV. his damage n defense arent really that bad. his TA is too expensive, granted, but if he could hit something hed be a beast. i say look for contingency plan. then when hes tying people up n just being a meat sheild switch to token taker w warbound. i dont think floor is gonna let him shine becuz he needz dem featzez. i lov him doin the armor peircing shake off/charge thing. especially with shellhead. shellhead is his friend....
for floor tho? hmmm...
dont spose u hav 2 zombie iron men?
ironman x2
abomination
streak of luck x2 (since boxcars is the only way youre gonna hit anyway?)
bring the vine n sit on it while you tie the team down lol.
For those interested, I took two teams to my last tournament and chose to play Stingray Pain Train over Abomb. I played the judge with MY Abomb team however, and here's how it went.
DATE PLAYED: 1/26/08
POINT TOTAL: 300 Points
SCENARIO: Week 7 floor for Proteus
I set aside the Stingrays for this Floor team I brought for the lulz:
Av Abomination + Inside Information
Mu Dark Beast
Mu (Lab) Beast + Inside Information
BFC: Deep Shadows was in play and the judge couldn't ignore it with his non themed sniper team: Winter Soldier, Merlyn, Black Tom, Agent Brand, Marvel Girl, X-23. Deep shadows helped move my team up, and he positioned Winter Soldier on an overturned truck, while I moved Dark Beast to intercept Merlyn and shut down his range. He intercepted Dark Beast with X-23 who pushed to hit, but beast made his Super Senses, and then retalliated by rolling a BCF of 1. Without Stealth to protect her I outwit her BCF, and she merely leapt away at the next possible moment. Meanwhile, Abomb had his charge Outwit by Black Tom, so LaBeast based him and pushed to knock him off Outwit - succeeding. Abomb charged in with the 3D Generator but missed. Winter Soldier had LoF on no one - so the Judge moved him off the truck and next to Marvel Girl where he TK'd bucky out to Snipe Abomb... and missed my 19 D at range. Dark Beast had engaged both Merlyn and X-23, preventing Merlyn from firing at the jolly green giant. Beast finished off X-23 and was worn down to his "Evil Experiment" power by a critical from Merlyn. Beast returned to Merlyn and rather than roll to hit his 17 D with my 8 AV I rolled a 3 with the SP giving Merlyn a token. Meanwhile, LaBeast leapt away from Tom to engage Bucky and keep him from sniping my Giant. Abomb rolled Breakaway from Tom, grabbed the Generator, advanced a square, and smashed Tom Cassidy to the ground. Abomb then cleared then Charged Agent Brand, smashing her to a pulp with the Generator. Merlyn pushed to KO Dark Beast, and was himself KO'd by the push. Marvel Girl Nearly pushed herself to death trying to fling objects at Beast and making ranged attacks. Successful with one I made her reroll with my theme bonus pushing Henry to his 17CR click while adjacent to Bucky. Abomb charged again, holding the Generator to smash into a Bucky, who worn down by beast's attack was no match for the Mean Green Machine. All that stoos between me and complete victory was Marvel Girl, and she soon joined the collage of clicks plastered on the underside of that Power Generator. ABOMINATION FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was the most fun I had all day!!!

No, I can't do it. I was going to make a tasteless joke, but never mind.
/Crikey!
It'll stop being tasteless in 3 days 16 hours and 4 minutes so just hold it in until then!
You're good. But I'm magic!

The problem is that a lot of new players come from the "race generation" they want to define their worth by the "skill" they posses in playing a game of toy soldiers.
