I'm kind of split here. While I still dislike restrictions handed down by WK at the local level for practically every event (every venue scene is different and WK doesn't know what's best for them all) I'm glad to see that they are opening them up somewhat. I still hate the floorced format. Generally speaking, people will want to use the new stuff anyway, WK shouldn't dictate it. Overall it's an improvement over the Planet Hulk "storyline"... but it's not quite there yet. Cut floorced back to once a month along with one restricted and 2 unrestricted (or a sealed and unrestricted) and stop dictating point totals for most events and I'd be happy.
Reading the above, you are ok with (per month):
#1 Sealed
#2 Restricted
#3 Floor
#4 Unrestricted
Here's the rub...
Sealed costs players (who may be limited in income) an additional $20, for figures they likely already have (if they got a brick).
If you look at it logically, FLOOR is much better for players than sealed. You at least get to choose 50% from any restricted set, and at least get to choose the clix from the recent set, instead of being forced into what comes out of the booster.
"And I shall make little coins with my head on them and place them in the thongs of your strippers."
Starro, however, I'll echo you...he does seem quite realistic to be played right now...for week 11. And I agree, keep the Marvel Colossals out of the DC storyline events.
I dont agree (at least for week 11). If you are using starro, better expect that I'm bringing Galactus.

I like the fact that the sealed is happening up front with this set. Ideally, I'd like to see what you laid out for the first month with following months having floor, restricted, unrestricted x2.
There are 542,000 children in foster care. Talk to your local foster and adoptive agency. You could change a life.

what s this? then suddenly everybody bringing their Galactus (or Galactii)? it's going to be boring if everybody brings their Galactus.
geez...I have no Galactus, no Starro, no Spectre, no Foom, no whatever...what am I gonna do? Hmmm...full theme teams of Psychic Blasts? PulseWavers? with a lot of perplexers/PCers? I don't know if I should go or not.
Looking at the bright side, I love those maps! Innovative ways to play and fun to see how things will turn out on those maps. fantastic!

No galactus, please?
Starro with healing will be difficult. Faced with difficulty, or Big G, I'd choose G.
Note... I'd only play G if Starro or another big figure was there...

There are DC versions of Armor Piercing and Stunning Blow.
And reading the "open weeks" it makes it sound like those will have to be venue supported although I could be misreading it.
Just wanted to point out that this is in fact true. A little disappointing but then again a lot of people didn't seem to care about the old LEs anyways.
If we are making things universe exclusive would that also limit the bfc. If so I see the landscape changing a bit. Not only that at 600 points it is tough to build a team that can take down Galactus or Starro if your not playing galactus or starro. At the same time dial study and a well thought out plan will be essential. With 30 pts limited in feats it makes taking down Galactus or Starro a lot harder. So I don't blame people for wanting to play either Galactus or Starro. After playing against Starro with a decent GL team I can tell you that Starro is really tough to take out if you do not get him quick and fast. You need melee, objects, hss, perplex, and prob to beat Starro. You need more of that to beat Galactus. Even on Starving he can run over a team. All the big figures will hit hard and keep hitting hard. Your best bet is to hid on the corner in the arena map and make them come to you.
