Played in the Marquee yesterday and I questioned a ruling

My Mystique was on her last click and was surrounded by my opponent's ShadowCat and Typhoid Mary. Mystique had one token. The points were tight so I wanted to push Mystique to get her away, thus KO'ing her.

My understanding was that no one gets the points when you take out your own fig. My opponent stated that he would get the points as he had most recently done damage to Mystique. Was he right? or was I?

If you push your own person to death the person who last damaged them gets the points. If no one ever damaged them (i.e. all the damage was pushing damage) then the points are split evenly among the opponents (which, in a regular two-person game, means the opponent get them anyway).

Yes, he was right. Last person to damage the figure gets the points.
