Shadowcat dropping characters on the other side a wall?
Just wondering if this is allowed. Shadowcat picks up somebody and phases, but she stays on the other side of wall and puts the passenger through it. It was ruled here that she could since both technically have Phasing, but it doesn't seem right to me. I think this should be in the new FAQ either way..
Ghost
Gulyadkin Victims List: Spider-Man (ASM 001b), Green Goblin (M10A 004).
Black Panther R (IC) Mjolnir Attempts: 2 for 2! HE IS WORTHY!
No need for a FAQ entry. A flying character must always drop off a character in an adjacent square. The other side of the wall is not adjacent, even for a Phaser. This is the same reason a flyer, even with Phasing, cannot drop off a character on a different elevation. The squares always have to be adjacent.
Fuzzy is correct. The figure being carried must be put in a square that is adjacent square. Even though they both have phasing it is still not considered an adjacent square.
Yeah, Tsannik passd on a ruling a few weeks ago about that. It seems that technically you are only Phasing while moving, so when the movement ends, the phasing ends as well and you can no longer go through terrain, so you cannot drop the passenger off through a wall.
Whenever someone asks me what I think the most dangerous animal is, i tell them it has to be a shark riding on an elephant, just eating and trampling everything in sight.
