Acctually I was wrong with my inorganic theroy. I did a little reading over Easter and found out Gambit has infact charged a tree once, which is very much organic and very much alive even. I don't, however ever recall him charging up a human or any form of living creature. But again I could be wrong.

i read on comic when he has mutated even further where now he can kiss rogue and she doesnt absorb his powers anymore

Ok guys here's the deal on Gambit. He is, or was deffinatly an Omega class mutant. His natural power level would allow him to charge anything instantly organic or not from great distances. He could control all sorts of energy being it space time or even gravity. He however had his power greatly reduced when he was young because he was afraid of what it could do. This is what he got from Mr. Sinister in exchange for assembling the Morlocks. When he was stuck in the past Gambit had the past Mr. Sinister return him to his full capacity, and he was actually able to burn the fabric of time itself and return to the present. His improved power was unfortunatly shortlived when in a battle with New Son (himslef from a different reality in which he actually did destroy the earth not to mention kill the pheonix) he burnt his power out. It then went back to the small object charging capability that we know him to have. Was Gambit born an Omega mutant? Yes. Does he still have that power now? NO, he never wanted it. I hope you guys have enjoyed this Gambit tutorial. If you haven't read them I suggest you pick up the back issues of his own title. It was sweet.

Yeah I remember that. He put a charge of energy around himself, so when he touched Rouge it wasent skin to skin it was like he had on a full body condem. In that issue he also did the dirty deed with Rouge.

To answer Krocs question from the first page, the largest item i ever saw Gambit charge was a train, which is pretty big if ya think about it.
