I'm subscribing to this thread because I keep forgetting to check it.
I'm not sure how he worked his magic on Starman; he took a "title" (the previous Starman book had been cancelled for some time, IIRC) and grabbed every bit of the Starman legacy he could (plus some other unloved pieces of the DC pantheon) and just told a really good set of stories.
It was an amazing achievement. The most amazing thing that I can recall about it was that there was *very* little appearance of the Starman "cast" appearing outside the Robinson book (or the Shade mini). I think the Mist was used to kill some potential JLE recruits, and Jack Knight was part of the (awesome) JSA reboot...but other than characters like Phantom Lady (Sandra Knight) or Solomon Grundy, I don't remember much cross-over at all.
Nevermind, I just found an article about the new Justice League comic, and while I think I only like one or two characters, I'll definately pick it up and give it a shot. I think Starman is the only book I have read by Robinson, but I certainly liked it enough to give this new book a try.
Heck, I'll probably even pick up the first issue of his run on Superman this June.
Has a release date/month been announced yet for Justice League?
He also wrote a film called Comic Book Villians that was a hoot. His Batman: OYL was a lot of fun, so he still has some juice left after Starman. Here's hoping his full-time return rocks DC.
