Ah. That's where teh communication issue is; in my high school, 'upperclasman' was anyone higher than you, 'underclassman' was anyone lower than you. I see where you're coming from, now.

Or went to school system that offered alternative academic paths for those who are too busy fighting crime to do their homework and only earned 1/2 credit for the academic year.
