I'm intrigued as well. Batman having sex with Canary? About time. Those fishnet stockings are pretty hard to overcome. Wonder if Ollie knows? What book is this? I do disagree with a volcano under the Batcave and Batman slapping around and killing robin.
It happened in All-Star Batman and Robin, so it's not DCU Proper. She's not involved with Ollie in this title. Not even an established hero yet. Also, Superman and Wonder Woman have a love/hate relationship where they fight and then make out. And Robin can take Hal Jordan's ring off his finger without him noticing, and then almost kill him before Batman steps in.
Intriguing? Yes. Good? Lord no. Just like Ultimates 3 and Hulk.
HeroClix needs more Goblin.
Acceptable in such forms as Green, Grey, Demo, Hob, Ultimate, and "Menace."
Punisher War Journal #22 - Frank was captured by S.H.I.E.L.D. last issue and is being transported to The Raft. Bridge decides to take this time to talk to Castle and psychoanalyze the Punisher and Jigsaw relationship until the session is interrupted by an attack on the transport vehicle. Jigsaw still has a bounty on Castle' head and The Wrecking Crew is looking to collect.
Meanwhile Clarke, Punisher' aide, decides he needs to rescue him but Frank's massage therapist stops him and dons a Punisher suit of her own.
Outside of the Patsy Walker book, I think my favorite Marvel Title this week was Iron Man: Viva Las Vegas. What I loved most about the book was a few of the lines from the book.
Elsa Bloodstone: [Reading inscription on statue] He Whose Limbs Shatters Mountains and Whose Back Scrapes the Sun... Tony: Oh no....
Tony: [After Foom has woken up]I've met this guy before. He's a problem.
I don't know why but those lines just really made me laugh.
WHEN THE DEVIL IS TOO BUSY,
AND DEATH’S A BIT TOO MUCH.

Elsie is in this series? I should pick it up later.
So did anyone else read Ultimate Origin? Thoughts?
Patsy Walker: Hellcat #2 - rated 7.5
"Belief is for the unknowable. Fear is for what we do know."
Kathryn Immonen's dialogue comes off with a peculiar, awkward style that seems like it should be annoying, but somehow comes off interesting and endearing. Patsy survives last issue's tentacle attack and gets recruited by an otherworldly group of witches to go on a mission that leads her to a very "naughty puppy." I'm with DarkCrisis on this one - this is a fun comic.
I almost picked this up as I've always enjoyed the character. It's a mini though, right? If so, I'll make a note to pick up the inevitable TPB when it comes out.
