The good pace being 3 issues of nothing but set-up? I find FC boring beyond measure. Honestly, it took to long to get to the point where "evil had wone" I jsut don't care anymore.

There is no big honking red bat. What you are seeing is her skin, being exposed between her corset and mask. The sky is red, so the light is red, so her skin is red.

It looks like Starfire to me. But you are right, the hair piece and dog callor do resemble bats. Who knows.

That's not her skin colour or her face would be that colour - note that everyone else's skin is the same colour as her face (I don't recall her wearing a full mask as otherwise it covers -everything- except for that corset part I think).

I'm not sure if you noticed this, but one of the first thing Darkseid does when he recruits superheroines is muck around with their hair. Ask Mary, she'll tell you.

i think Final Crisis is a pile of feces....

For me Final Crisis is like Lost. When I started watching Lost, I thought it was ridiculous, and not in a good way. Things were weird for what seemed like was for the sake of weird. Nothing made sense, and the acting was over the top. But for some reason, I kept watching.

I'm halfway through the second season now via netflixed dvd, and I am actually enjoying it. I'm not sure what changed, but I hung in there, and I'm glad I did.


I think (hope) Final Crisis will be the same way.
