The old Marvel VS DC event back in the mid 90's?
I really liked that event, maybe because I was way younger and didn't look at details as much. Even though we got an Avengers/JLA deal, I didn't feel satisfied with it the way I felt with the 90's Marvel and DC crossover.
how can we forget amalgam anyways? :-p

Last year I remembered that, then I reread it and it does not hold up well over time. Lobo the Duck however will always be amazing.

I enjoyed JLA/Avengers actually. I think that held up a lot more too. Then again, I'm not a fan of conflicts that are resolved by audience participation. That's how Wolverine beats Lobo.

Like I said, maybe it was the illusion of being younger and finally seeing it happen. The only thing to come out of Amalgam that I actually liked and read was Darkclaw.

for starters everything should had been draw by Dan Jurgents and not the other artist (don't even remember who he was).

I don't like that they put very "popuar in that times" characters in the battles, like Lobo.

Spider-Man was the clon, and he fight against Superboy. Spider-Man clon in this event? mmmm

I would like better if more classic heroes would be on this. also, it take a lot of time in the main fights and show in just some panels how a LOT of others heroes from Marvel and DC fight each other. I really should like to see more of those others heroes than only the main battles.

anyways. I always love Dan Jurgens and he was good on this.

But JLA-Avengers was FAAAAR better than Marvel vs DC. and JLA and the Avengers for me are the main characters of each universe, so for me MY Marvel vs DC was JLA Avengers.

I understend. I love a lot of things only for the "Nostalgia" feeling.

Amalgam was kinda cool (some characters).

You can see lot of Amalgam characters in 3 TPPB about Amalgam (All Acces and all that)
the Amalgam cards also were very good.

I see this Mortal Kombat versus DC and I can't help but think if the two companies (Marvel and DC) put together their resources and had a company create them a DC versus Marvel game that it would be awesome.

That has been a fantasy for many years.
Maybe someday..maybe..

They make this game they never have to worry about a crossover again.

Who would win? Wolverine or Batman? Superman or Sentry? Howard the Duck or Detective Chimp?
