I haven't read the JSA annual yet, and I may be misremembering things, but here goes:
Mr. Terrific is the character that Gog was "ignoring", right? presumably because Mr. T is an atheist...but isn't Mr. T also invisible to all forms of electronic sensing devices? Wouldn't that be a more logical explanation why Gog doesn't respond to Mr. Terrific?
Would figuring this out make me the 33rd smartest man in the DCU?

This could mean that Gog is a false idol and is a machine, not a god.
It also begs he question why didn't he respond to Citizen Steel?

Mr. Terrific showed up on a video phine in Checkmate. I think his power is ignored too often.
I'll grant that it is an interesting idea, but it would not explain how Gog could heal all those people, including Damage, nor send Power Girl to Earth 2.

Yeah, because robots manipulating the very fabric of reality is completely impossible in the wide world of comics.
I like the idea.
We all know for sure that gog is a false idol, what we don't know is what direction it is heading. If you haven't read annual JSA, don't expect any answers. It's a good read tho.
Um, I dont think geoff johns would give us a reveal of "GOG WAS A ROBOT!!!" that would be like a reveal of "THE EVIL HAL JORDAN WAS A ROBOT!!!" It would just be silly.

I noticed that "Millenium" was issued as a TPB this week...which was essentially the same premise as "Secret Invasion".
