I'm going to be attending a Last Man Standing tournament soon, and I'm struggling to decide who would be best to choose as my sole character. I was considering Darkseid, due to his mind control, outwit and psychic blast, as well as his impervious, but I'm not sure. Have any of you participated in a tournament like this, or have one soon? Who did/would you use?

OWAW Superman, is probably the most self-sufficient figure out there.

I don't have him, unfortunately, but that thought did cross my mind. If someone enters him in the tournament, we're all in for a bit of a challenge. I wonder if I could get away with using a 300 point Sentinel..

If they let you I would use either a Sentinal or Sinestro. If it's one on one all you have to do is make one succesful capture and the game is over.

It's every man for himself, last man standing. I think they are going to set up several maps and let everyone choose a side of each map. They said that there are 'special rules' for healing your characters, but they didn't disclose what they were.. I'd imagine that you get clicks of like back for KOing an opponent or something. Sentinels and Sinestro are still good choices, though, I think, if the judge will allow them..

Keep in mind that the game ends if you capture the only fig on the board and you won't get the points for him. You would only get the points for Sentinel/Sinestro. Your oponent won't get them either but you lose out to some extent.FYI.
I would shoot for a fig w/ outwit, Darkseid or Mandarin as this could be a big deal. Mandarin has that big range and huge defence from range w/ energy shield. Mind control will require pushing as most of the figs will be over 100 points and some may be over 200, so I would avoid MC and use incapacitate instead.
