So I've gotten backlogged on Wizards, and I picked one up today, and realized there's not that much to it.
I really like the Bookshelf feature, where they actually critically evaluate trade paperbacks. Unfortunately, most of the rest of the magazine is fluff and hype. They're very sycophantic about certain people/projects/companies. It's also full of spoilers I wish I hadn't read.
The title's mostly rhetorical; I've pretty much talked myself out of it, unless there are compelling reasons to not cancel.
Anyway, I went to their website, and there's no way to cancel it. I can't even view my status. They have the worst website design I've ever seen, btw. So who's canceled their subscriptions? Do I have to call them? That's a pain.
I subscribed to Wizard back when they had the promo to the Dark Knight Detective clix. That was 12 month's worth of wasted paper. Yeah, you have the occasionally interesting article, but mostly it was filler stuff that I already had heard about from other sources... So to answer the question, yeah, go ahead and drop it.

i like it, it passes the time between comics. It is a lot of filler but i personally think its a fun read they have some good sections. Like bookshelf, as said before. Plus when i got it, it was only like 20 sumthing bucks so its not that much money.
I think it's a fun magazine but not really worth it.
Like it was said previously, you can get the info for free everywhere else. Plus, I have discovered myself that I don't tend to agree with reviewers for just about anything :-p
