I've got to say that after watching this game I can only conclude that Psycho Pirate is every bit as monstrous as I always expected him to be (especially with the new perplex rules), even an auto-regenerating Mr. Sinister is easier to KO than the Pirate!

And that's not even taking into account the possibility of adding a feat like... say Camouflage to his defensive arsenal!

Sir, feated up correctly, there is nothing more resolute than a Psycho Pirate. 4th click down:

Camouflage, Fortitude, Armor Piercing, Protected.

If you've got the points, or the leaning, feel free to put on: Mental Shields (For Mind Controlly Goodness), Lucky Break (for those pesky crit-misses), Mercenary (to Bat Ally) for flavor.

With the requisite feats, he totals 121. Thats 121 points you are NOT going to lose easily, and unless your opponent has some HSS or Thwart (Or something like De-Feated is in play), the Pirate is not going anywhere soon.

I am not that featy of a person, but I am getting Armor Piercing. My whole team has low damage output, Which is why I avoided the Hulk like the plague is our last game, King.

TAK, you do know that you still have a turn, right. You can get Pirate a little more stats at least.

And, yes, Psycho-Pirate is a beast to take down.

I had my last turn taking out Harvey. Besides I would have to get Croc or Bane in position to hurt each other anyway.

Bane and Killer Croc grabbed their comrades unconscious bodies, throwing them over shoulders or dragging them behind them as they fled the scene.

Psycho Pirate mania runnin' wild! Good grief he was a nightmare in that match. And Penguin was quite troublesome too.
That was a lot of fun to read, but I gotta say I'm pulling for the Society and hope they do well in the regular season.
