This royally sucks. Makes it hard for honest newbies like me to get any established trading going.
If this lil punk wasn't on the other side of the country, I'd be down for a drive to go knock him on his ###. Close Combat Expert-style.
Sonuva$@#tch.
HHH
I agree. It makes people that are just getting started, to start with a bad rap. I mean, I have no problem ever sending first. Even if I were to start establishing myself, I wouldn't have a problem. But how can someone really start to establish themselves without fearing the worst from someone like Lojo?
Instead of calling the police try calling the FBI! I actually just talked to an FBI agent in Buffalo, New York who suggested he be reported to the Internet Crime Complaint Service, you can call 1-800-251-7581 or visit www.ic3.gov. Or just call your local FBI field office and talk to them would be my suggestion.
It's time to nail this hoser, and get his butt put in the clink.
That won't work. Because that's what people have been doing. Did you totally miss the part where people said that the Feds won't do anything? You gotta bring in Local PD, someone who will go talk to mommy and then mommy will take a belt to little Lojo. That's what will get results, pacifism WILL NOT WORK. I can't stress how ineffective the FBI are in this situation. Local authorities, that's the route to take.
10-2-08 I just put a bunch of stuff on eBay including a numbered Super Skrull Illuminati and a CoG Galactus. Check it out.
Guys, I know you're upset and every single right to be, but we're not allowed to be posting people's real life addresses on the site.
We can post his name and street, city/state, but not the actual address number.
The best advice I can offer is to keep pushing whatever local authorities you can and file for mail fraud. If they get enough continuous complaints, something must be done.
What, am I normal or not?
Am I crazier than other patients?
Right, I've done everything right.
So where's the karma, doc? I've lost my patience.
When filling out the ic3 form, there sa section to add their IP address, so here's one of his:
74.73.77.124
When I got ripped a few years back I contacted everyone. And I mean everyone! I finally got on the phone with an internet crime detective in the persons city. He told me that alone I can't do squat. But if there are a bunch of victims you can all get together and do something. In my case, nobody did squat... They basically helped him as far as I'm concerned. But anyway... IC3 won't do anything. Mail fraud won't do anything...
Shel, he's from NY? Well send an E-mail to whatever police department is responsible for this guy asking for contact information to their internet crime division. Then find out who wants to go after this guy. If you only get one or two people don't even bother. You'll need at least six or more. Anyway, have them all send him an E-mail explaining their side of the story. Also make sure they send their contact information.
Save all your PM's from this lojo guy. Save them on your home computer. Try to have as much evidence as possible. I doubt you will be able to get the stuff back but you guys can try.
The only comment I have for Kitsushel is not meant to be negative but the reason we posted his address was because this guy is abusing his neighbors addresses, and so we were trying to figure out if he used a common one. If we all send messages out giving different addresses to the ic3 people, they will just see individual cases and not that they are all linked to the same person. If that violates the TOS then we won't post about that anymore, but we just wanted to band together to fight him, and by the way I wish we had the IP sooner because I had no way of telling the ic3 what his IP was so they could track him by that. Anyway thats all for now.
Just a small tidbit of info. He's been spotted playing at Neutral Ground in Manhattan. If people want to contact the owner maybe they can get him banned from the store or something, it's not ideal, but at the very least it will inconvenience him and deny him the chance to use those scammed figures. I work for the NYPD, I will try to find out some more information about how to go about getting the local precinct to take action.
