When you attack, or use an ability on your turn, your priority, I can use an ability to try and foul your plans.
I can play fall back or whatever, and I will need to exhaust a number of my resources to use this card.
So if I have exhausted all but three of my resources on my turn, then it becomes your turn I will have three "defensive" resources to play if I have cards abilities to do this with. Of if you swing at me with a weapon I can use my shield and then I need to exhaust resources to attack you with a weapon of my own.
Then at the beginning of my turn I get to ready all the resources.
Trying to figure how many resources to play on each turn and to keep some in reserve if I have the tools, abilities to use.
Hope that makes a little sense.
please note, I know how to spell warrior, it was taken.
i have a question about resource use on opponents turn, but of a different sort.....
can u activate resourses on ur opponents turn???
example: if i use all but 3 resources on my turn, then my opponent doesnt attack (i left my 3 resources ready so i could use an ability to stop an attack) can i activate a quest on my opponents turn to make the most of my unused resources???
Yes, that is a perfectly legal move. A lot of people do this to psych out their opponent, making them think they have an instant ability ready to go, then at the end of the opponent's turn they just complete a quest.
