Ever since Dark Portal came out I've been trying to make the new Combat Rogue Daspien work. I know that he needs his Blade Flurry card to deal extra damage to allies. However, I've been playing it for a while with barely any success. I don't know whether to try and go ally heavy with my Rogue as a secondary fighter, or to almost go solo. With the new Dual Wield, his flip, Blade Flurry, and all the direct damage and KO cards that the Rogue has I was almost thinking of trying a Solo build for the Rogue.
With the new effective armor that the Rogue has like Muggers belt and Devilsaur Leggings you definetly get advantages on your opponent. I'm just not sure whether to go with an extreme equipment build, dropping 90% of my allies for more of an equipment suite or to stay with the ally heavy build.
Also, I've been debating whether to use the cards like Backstabs and Ambush that deal damage off your daggers, as the Krol Blades with Dual Wield and his flip can deal lots of damage. Any thoughts?
If you really want to dual wield which I do not recommend it should be Krol Blade as your primary and Fel Striker as your secondary. That way when people inevitably blow up the dual wield you can destroy your striker to destroy an ally. Also try Gurubashi dwarf destroyer instead of dual wield, you'll see what I mean. The correct equipment would be devilsaur leggings, Eye of Rend, Krol Blade, Fel Striker, and muggers belt.
Thanks Paul, appreciate the help. Gurabashi Dwarf Destroyer? A ranged weapon? Seems good. Is that just to save my daggers for strike backs? The other question I have with that is can I wield a ranged (1) weapon and a melee weapon or just one or the other?
Also, do you think this should be more solo with a few protectors or still ally heavy?
Felstriker is sweet, unfortunately I own none, got any for trade?
I wouldn't touch Devilsaur leggings with a 10-foot pole. They're really not worth the cost, since you really want to be attacking the opposing hero, and unless you're using a free-strike weapon, you'd be much better served by an ability to do the same job.

I suspect the problem you are having is you are trying to do to much and have things that cost too much. Combat Rouge is only going to be a fun deck as far as I can see because the key card cost four and does not actually do anything on its own. If you are going to pay more than one resource for something is had better do something amazing particularly in the fast environment. You can get away with a 2/1 for one or even dealing one for one.... but for TWO it had better do something like special like frost shock, eye of kilrog, steal essence, Anhilator etc....
This is why people usually dont have alot of things that cost three in their deck. Krol Blade, parvnick, saramoth shred soul, Cruelity are some of the few exceptions because they give you tempo advantage and board advantage/card advantage. If something cost four or even five it had better go a long way towards winning the game for you right away or help clear the board. Frost Nova, Wraith Scythe
Thunderhead Hippo, Leroy, etc...
