Was wondering about building a 200pt team around phasing.
I have Vision, R Silver Samurai, and E Shadowcat... those three on a team will run 173 with 27 points to play around. Would this team be viable in a tourney?
Any suggestions?
I'm looking to build a team around Vision but don't know where to start. Any tips for a 200 pt. team with Vision? Thanks.
and for 27 points use R black panther to make exactly 200 points plus vision and panther are both avengers with free movement so youll benifit both ways
try it out looks solid and that outwit can help visions measly 2 damage

Some people are like Slinkies . . . not really good for anything,
but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

Veteran Dr. Strange and Vision are 199 points, only Two figures but they're good Ones.

I've got to be honest. Your rookie SS/Shadowcat/Vision team will get stomped.
Vision is an awesome piece, but he's really a very expensive support piece. As a result, he's very hard to fit into a 200 point team. His damage is too low to be your big gun.
I respectfully disagree with SgtHulka. I don't think the SS/Shadowcat/Vision team is great, but it's not horrible.
Vision has a terrific movement, 10 range and Superstrength - his SS alone can let him do decent damage.
I know you are trying for a theme here, there are a few pieces that might help. Assuming you keep the Vision, I'd consider either upping the SS to vet or switching him for another piece, like a Logan or Taskmaster. Vision should carry your blades person, picking up an object as he moves. Hopefully, you've get a large blades roll or close combat attack and you can choose to push them both next turn for large damage.
E Shadowcat is a great piece, but may not suit this army well. You may be better off with another taxi/figure combo (like rookie vulture and Bullseye, etc).
In a 200 pt game, not many people will be playing large, expensive pieces. You probably won't face much invunerability and, if you do, take out all taxis first to reduce mobility of the bruisers.
In all, the team probably isn't a tournament winner - but I don't think it will get consistently slaughtered, either.

Those are good answers, also, if you have your heart set on a Vision team you might want to play with a Con-Artist or 2 to up his damage along with a Heavy Object he could do 6 or 7 damage in a blow, take a hit and then come back for healing.
So with that you probably need a Medic too.
Either way, Enjoy and Good Luck.
