Ringmaster is a sweet little figure. It's really the mix of powers that works so well for him. He's insignificant enough not to be a primary choice for an attack but deadly enough to use mind control or incapacitate to do some real harm.
A cool figure with some nifty uses and solid values for the points! Opponents often write him off and underestimate him due to the character's inherent lameness. 2 clicks of 11AV for incapacitate or mind control actually keeps him generally safe (as does his abundance of mastermind). His triple target mind control option is nice if limited by only being able to give targets move actions. It can have its big uses though if you build a bit around Ringmaster. Marching a whole group of opponents into contact with Plasmus and/or Nightshade's damaging smoke clouds can be a handy trick. This figure is best left as is, as, while mental shields is tempting, it would make him unable to use the triple target option. Contingency Plan works good on him though, so there IS that.
For 68 points, what's not to like about him? A very fun, comic accurate figure. I love Incap myself, so the +2 to Range and AV for Incap just tickles my fancy. The Mind Control isn't anything special, but I'd probably never use it on him anyway. All in all, he's a sleeper. Your opponent will probably understimate or dismiss him in the early game, and by the late game, he could really do some damage.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
Ringmaster is a great villainous finesse piece. He has everything that makes Mastermind fun to use without the bloat making him much easier to field. His SP is brilliant giving him awesome stats throughout his dial (except the final click) unless you want to take advantage of his 1 damage (which you never will). One of the most competitive mind controllers in the game.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
Slap ambidextrous on this sucker. You get the effect of an 8 range 11 attack double bolt mind controller / incapper, but only pay the ambidextrous cost of someone that has 6 range.

I will say this. On a celeb theme team, tyou can make alot of havok by mcing 3 people to walk to the edge of a roof, and then have pennance make them all jump off.
